Job Description
We require a full time, committed and long term caregiver for my elderly mother to
receive necessary daily care and support. She has a history of heart issues that is currently
stable, due to medication (hypertension, coronary artery disease) as well as mild memory
impairment.

Permanent, fulltime position for 35hrs/week
Starting as soon as possible.

Education
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
or equivalent experience

Experience
1 to less than 7 months

On site
Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. (Van Slyke Way, Red Deer, T4R 0N5) Full address will be provided to the applicable candidates.

Tasks
Administer medications to client as prescribed
Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene to maintain dignity and comfort
Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk to promote mobility
Change non-sterile dressings
Feed or assist in feeding, ensuring dietary requirements are met
Launder clothing and household linens to maintain a clean living environment
Provide companionship through conversation, activities and emotion support
Provide personal care including dressing, grooming
Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary preferences
Cook
