Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure the smooth functioning of the restaurant, including food preparation, cash handling, and customer service
• Manage and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient and high-quality food production
• Supervise employees and arrange shifts to maintain a high level of performance and customer satisfaction
• Ensure the restaurant’s compliance with health and safety regulations
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints, and resolve any issues in a timely manner
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Build relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring a steady supply chain
• Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies to improve restaurant performance

Qualifications:
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required and a post-secondary degree in Hospitality, Food and Beverage Management, Business Administration, or a related field an asset
• “ProServe” Certificate preferred
• Minimum two years of proven experience in a restaurant management role, with a strong background in food service and kitchen operations
• Have strong, proven leadership qualities and management skills including effective staff scheduling
• Strong knowledge of POS systems and cash-handling procedures
• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with strong written and verbal communication abilities
