SollizB Inc. is seeking a reliable and experienced Telecommunication Technician to join our growing team in Edmonton. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of telecommunications and data systems. This role requires hands-on experience with cabling infrastructure, computer networks, broadcast systems, and voice/data communication equipment.

We are looking for a technician with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Telecommunications & Cabling Systems:
Install, arrange, remove, and maintain telephone and telecommunication equipment, wiring, and associated hardware

Inspect, test, and maintain cable signals and associated equipment

Diagnose, locate, and repair cable and signal faults

Adjust, replace, or repair telecommunications equipment and hardware

Test installed telephone systems and cable lines to identify transmission issues

Analyze test results and modify or repair switching systems, networks, and software as needed

Network and Internet Infrastructure:
Install cable modems and related software to enable internet access

Evaluate, install, and troubleshoot computer hardware, networking software, and operating systems

Monitor and report on the performance of computer systems and networks

Research, evaluate, and integrate network systems and data communication hardware and software

Broadcast Systems:
Maintain, install, and troubleshoot a wide range of broadcast hardware and software systems

Reporting & Coordination:
Complete and maintain accurate service and test reports

Initiate the dispatch of appropriate repair personnel when required
