Lady Luck Tattoo is seeking a Tattoo Artist for their Langley location.

Permanent, Full-time; $34.62 per hour; 30-40 hours per week. Bonus is available depending on sales performance.
Standard 6-8 hour shifts for this position could be scheduled anytime between 11am and 6pm as required.

Job Description

Duties:

• Consult with clients to understand their vision and design preferences for tattoos;
• Create custom tattoo designs that reflect the client's ideas and personal style;
• Review design or artwork with client before application of tattoo designs;
• Prepare the tattoo station, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards;
• Apply tattoos using various techniques (e.g., electric tattoo machines, needles, and single-use disposable equipment) while maintaining precision and artistry;
• Provide aftercare instructions to clients to ensure proper healing of tattoos;
• Maintain an organized workspace, including sterilization of equipment and tools;
• Engage with clients in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service throughout their experience;
• Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries, as needed;
• Maintain and cooperate in a creative and harmonious environment with staff and clients;
• Help maintain the cleanliness and integrity of the entire shop.

Requirements:

• Secondary school completion required;
• Minimum of 5 years of previous experience is required;
• Must demonstrate strong artistic skills with a portfolio of previous work;
• English language ability is required.
