We are currently hiring a Food Services Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will support day-to-day operations, lead service staff, and ensure that every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, organizing, directing, and overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen.
• Support inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining adequate stock levels.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for both guests and staff.
• Aid in budget management, cost control, and the efficient allocation of resources.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and implement strategies for continuous improvement in service quality.
• Supervise and evaluate kitchen staff performance, including conducting regular performance reviews.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and timely service.
• Enforce compliance with company policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Conduct routine inspections to maintain compliance with hygiene, food safety, and labor regulations.
• Train kitchen staff on cooking techniques, recipes, and kitchen protocols.
• Oversee kitchen opening and closing procedures, including inventory checks and shift reports.
• Support food preparation for reservations, large groups, and guests with special dietary requirements.


Requirements for the job:

• Several years of work experience in the food and beverage industry.
• Knowledge in North American, Mexican and/or Indian cuisine is an asset.
• Exceptional organization and time management skills
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent customer service abilities
• Proven ability to handle conflict resolution and maintain a positive work environment
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, including scheduling, inventory, and cost control
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Understanding of food safety regulations and alcohol service compliance (e.g., Serving It Right certification)
• Comfortable using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic office software
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education in hospitality or management is an asset)
