Job Description

Duties:
- Oversee the garden maintenance division and coordinate the activities of its crew of labourers
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise the growth and use of plants for landscaping and ornamental purposes
- Conduct client site visits to assess lawn and garden conditions; apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other lawn care products as needed
- Lead the installation of landscape elements such as paver patios, river rock features, plant layouts, boulders, stone steps, natural stone elements, and low-voltage lighting
- Maintain private and public lawns and gardens
- Estimate material and labour requirements for individual projects and obtain required supplies and materials
- Resolve work-related issues, and prepare and submit progress and other job reports
- Ensure all work meets both company and client standards for quality and safety
- May perform hands-on work alongside the crew as required

Qualifications:
- Completion of secondary school is required.
- At least 2 years of experience as a landscape or horticulture technician is required.
- Previous experience in supervising is an asset.
- Ability and willingness to work in all weather conditions.
- English language is required.
