Registered Early Childhood Educator Required

Duties and Responsibilities:

Work in a cooperative manner to program, plan, and implement activities that adhere to the E.L.E.C.T. and AQI documents. Must have the ability to observe and document children’s interests/learning and apply it to their needs and interests.

Provide calm, consistent supervision and guidance of daily activities and during field trips. Understand the importance of a Play Inquiry Program, self-regulation, and positive child guidance techniques.

Job Description

POSITION: RECE working with the Full Day Kindergarten group.

Hours 7:30-10:00; 2:30-6:00. (split shift 6 hours). Supply hours available.

Applicant would need to be available for full-time hour shifts on P.A. days/School Breaks and during the Summer.


Requirements:

Early Childhood Education Diploma
Registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators in good standing
An up-to-date Standard First Aid & current CPR (Level C)
Up to date health form that meets Ministry requirements.
Valid, up-to-date Vulnerable Sector Check
Knowledge of AQI, ELECT, HOW DOES LEARNING HAPPEN, and THE CHILDCARE EARLY YEARS ACT.
Salary: Start rate: $27.46/hour (PWE included)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.46 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

Schedule: Monday to Friday

License/Certification: ECE diploma (required)

Starting Date: August 11. 2025
