Our restaurant is looking for an Assistant Manager to join our team to serve our growing roster of clients.

Skill Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management OR 2+ years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory or management experience, are required.

Job Description
• Plan, coordinate, direct, manage and evaluate the day-to-day tasks and operations of the restaurant.
• Develop, implement, and analyze budgets.
• Monitor revenues and payroll records in order to ensure that expenditures are authorized and budgeted.
• Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.
• Implement policies and operational procedures in order to determine ways to improve service, performance, and/or safety.
• Recruit, train, and manage food service employees and supervisors.
• Schedule employee work hours to ensure that all shifts are adequately covered.
• Regularly inspecting all work areas to ensure compliance with food health and safety regulations.
• Address customer needs, comments, and complaints.
• Take inventory of food supplies and other consumables, place orders with suppliers as needed, and receive deliveries.
• Organize and direct worker training programs, resolve personnel problems, and evaluate employee performance.
