Job Title: Home Childcare Provider – Private Home
Employer: Kaushal Family
Location: Richmond Hill, Ontario
Wage: CAD$20 per hour – Overtime paid according to provincial standards
Language of Work: English
Start Date: As soon as possible
Duration: One (1) Year
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday – Assistance required from 7:00am to 9:00 am and 3:00pm to 8:00pm (split shift) – 35 hours per week total.
Optional: Live-in accommodation available at no cost to the employee. This is not a condition of employment

Job Duties
- Supervise and care for one 12-year old child in the employer’s home.
- Assist child in getting ready for school in the morning and supervise after-school activities
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
- Bathe, dress and groom child, as required
- Accompany child to and from school, or extracurricular activities, as needed
- Organize activities to support the child’s physical, emotional, and social development
- Provide homework supervision and education support
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home

Requirements
- Completion of secondary school
- At least six months of childcare experience.
- First aid/CPR capabilities – can be satisfied through a First Aid/CPR certificate, or post-secondary education in nursing, health care, or a related field.
- Post-secondary education in nursing, health care, or a related field is an asset due to anaphylaxis status of the child.
- Criminal record check, including a vulnerable sector check, required.
- References from previous childcare or caregiving roles required.
