Job Description
Set up printing press machines by installing printing plates, adjusting rollers, and calibrating ink levels according to the job specifications.

Operate and monitor printing presses to produce materials such as newspapers, packaging, books, or promotional items, ensuring consistent quality throughout the print run.

Inspect printed products during production to check for color consistency, clarity, and proper registration, and make adjustments when needed.

Perform minor repairs and adjustments to maintain smooth machine operations and avoid production delays.

Maintain inventory of printing materials such as paper, ink, and plates, and report shortages to the supervisor.

Clean and maintain press equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance and extend machine life.

Follow safety standards and workplace procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a clean, organized work environment.

Coordinate with supervisors or clients to understand printing requirements and ensure job specifications are met.

Label, package, and store finished printed materials in accordance with company practices.
