D & P Construction Ltd. is looking for framer helpers to join our team and grow together!

Position: Framer Helper - Construction (NOC 75110)
Vacancies: 2
Terms of Employment: Full-time (30 to 40 hours per week), Early Morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, To be determined
Hourly Wage: $25.00-27.00
Expected Start Date: As soon as possible
Business location: 5125 Coral Shores Dr NE, Calgary, Alberta, T3J 3J5
Work site: Various locations in Calgary and surrounding areas

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Assist framers in measuring, cutting, and assembling metal studs and frames
- Load, unload, and transport steel stubs, tracks and other construction materials, tools, and equipment to job sites
- Assist in setting up ladders, scaffolding, and work platforms
- Hold, position, and secure metal framing materials in place during installation
- Use power tools to cut, drill, and fasten materials as required
- Assist in installing drywall, insulation, and other construction components
- Perform routine maintenance tools, equipment, ensure work areas are clean and organized
- Follow safety procedures and ensure a safe work environment
- Perform other activities at construction sites as required

Position Requirements and Qualifications:
- Will provide training; Previous work experience as an asset
- Physical capability of performing duties
- Team player, Reliability, Flexibility, Hardworking, Effective interpersonal skills

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
- Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding
- Weigh handling up to 23kg (50 lbs)
