COMPANY OVERVIEW: Safe Income Tax & Accounting Inc. is a professional financial services firm based in Vancouver, BC, located at 1233 Kingsway. The company specializes in a variety of accounting services, including personal and business tax preparation, bookkeeping (monthly or quarterly), payroll services, corporate taxes, and tax planning. They are seeking one Bookkeeper (NOC 12200) for their business operations.

JOB TITLE: Bookkeeper Position (NOC 12200)

LOCATION: 1233 Kingsway, Vancouver, BC, V5V 3E2

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Permanent; Full-time
ANTICIPATED START DATE: As soon as Possible
VACANCIES: 1
WAGE: $28. 00 per Hour
HOURS OF EMPLOYMENT: 35 to 40 hours/Week
WORK SETTING: Office

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
• Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
• Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
• Post journal entries
• Prepare tax returns
• Prepare trial balance of books
• Reconcile accounts

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years is required.
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience is required.
• Proficiency in Accounting software and MS Office tools (Access, Excel, Outlook, Word) is essential.
• Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Excellent time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• English language is required;
