Based at 570 Sherling Pl, Port Coquitlam, BC V3Y 2T8, Canada we are a leading importer and distributor of quality foods from Spain and Italy, supplying over 200 stores across British Columbia, Alberta, and Manitoba. We also provide distribution services for Canadian brands and eastern distributors seeking western coverage.

Job Description

Position: Delivery Driver
Number of positions available: 1
Work Hours: 40 hours per week
Wage: $24.00/hour
Employment Type: Full-time, one-year
Start date: ASAP
Work Location: Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee.
Language of work: English
Vacation time: As per law

Key duties and responsibilities

• Operate and drive company vans and small trucks to safely transport and deliver imported food products to clients.
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to grocery and specialty stores, following established routes and schedules.
• Load and unload shipments carefully to prevent damage and ensure product integrity.
• Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor during deliveries.
• Maintain delivery logs, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery details, and report any incidents or delays.
• Communicate with the warehouse team and dispatch to coordinate deliveries efficiently.
• Assist with sorting and organizing shipments at the warehouse when needed.
• Occasionally set up or organize delivered products at client locations as per their request.
Job requirements:

• Completion of a secondary school.
• Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles). Support will be provided to obtain the appropriate Canadian driver's license.
• One-year of previous work experience in the same or a directly related job position.
