Bungee Holdings Ltd. dba Bungee Access (business address 250 – 997 Seymour St., Vancouver, BC, V6B 3M1) is seeking an experienced Rope Access Technician – Level 2.

Working conditions:
Wage: $36.50 – 38.00/h (depending on experience)
Full-time, permanent job offer
Working location: Vancouver - Lower Mainland
30 - 40 hours/week with overtime per the Employment Standards Act of British Columbia. Part-time position (under 30 hours per week) and flexible hours options are also available.
4% vacation paid by-weekly.

Job Description
Duties:
Rope access to hard-to-reach areas without scaffold or a work platform;
Undertaking rescues, with some knowledge of legislation, and safety requirements.
Descend, ascend, and traverse ropes for access and work while suspended by a harness;
Perform a variety of maneuvers on rope comfortably;
Perform duties such as inspections, painting touch-ups, washing windows, pressure washing, waterproofing, caulking and other kinds of work at height or high angle;
Perform minor repair/maintenance activities at height or high angle;
Communicate effectively with customers and managers to maintain consistent workflow and customer satisfaction;
Inspect your rope access equipment and safety system;
Follow established safety rules and instructions, including fall protection.


Requirements:
Must be comfortable and capable of working at heights in various weather conditions;
Must have completed high school or equivalent;
Must have at least 3 years of direct experience as a Rope Access Technician and at least a Level 2 IRATA certificate;
Must be able to work under minimum supervision;
Must be able to work while suspended in a harness for extended periods of time;
Craftsmanship and manual dexterity is a must;
Must have attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination;
Must be able to speak English;
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills;
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, job task planning and organizing.
