Alliance Maintenance Ltd. (business address 4620 Earles St., Vancouver, BC, V5R 3R2) is seeking four Assistant Executive Housekeepers (NOC 62021) for our Vancouver, BC location. It’s a full-time, permanent position, 37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday. We pay $20.50 - $22.50/h – depending on experience. The employee receives 4% paid vacation.

Job Description
Duties:
• Overseeing and directing cleaning activities of apartment buildings;
• Responsible for assisting the Housekeeper Manager in running the daily operation of all housekeeping services in apartment buildings;
• Ordering cleaning supplies and ensuring housekeeping staff have sufficient and functional tools to perform cleaning duties;
• Informing housekeeping staff of new procedures that must be followed;
• Training/supervising housekeeping staff, including performing apartment building inspections;
• Performing regular cleaning duties during emergency staff shortages;
• Provide performance and concerns reports to the Housekeeping Manager.
• Assume the responsibilities and duties of the Housekeeping Manager during his/her absence and days off.

Requirements:
• Must have completed high school or equivalent;
• Must have at least 1-year work experience working in a cleaning/property management company;
• Must have some previous supervisory experience;
• Must be able to lead a team of 3-4 employees;
• Must have excellent organization skills and ability to prioritize;?
• Must be able to remain calm and professional in difficult situations;
• Must be able to speak, read and write in English;
• Must have excellent communication and customer service skills;
• Must have attention to detail be able to stand and walk for extended periods;
• Must be able to provide at least one professional reference upon request.
