Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or Culinary Arts
• Minimum 8 years working for a restaurant as a cook/sous-chef
• kitchen management: 3 years (required)
• Food Safety Certification
Job Description
The 101 Brewhouse + Distillery Ltd is looking for energetic chef/kitchen manager to join our Kitchen Team:
• Manage Kitchen Staff 5-10 people
• Scheduling
• Prepare, season and cook food meeting dietary requirements where required
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications
• Schedule Kitchen Staff
• Calculate Food sales ratios
• Food ordering and costing
• Supervise food quality and execution
• Menu planning
• Create new menu items
• Create special event menu’s such as weddings, Christmas parties etc. (including food costing and menu pricing)
• Train staff
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness
• Other managerial duties
• Work with the brewery and distillery in creating menu specials that promote the products we make by using them in the recipes, or by creating pairings.
• Assist in making The 101 Brewhouse & Distillery a popular and profitable food establishment to the best of your abilities.
