We, The Rabbid Fox, located at 123 Pioneer Drive, Kitchener Ontario N2P 2A3 are looking for one experienced, talented Evening Bar Manager to join our business. This is a permanent, full-time position requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week. Evenings and Weekends are Required for this position.

Job Description

Job duties
1) Hiring, training, and managing restaurant staff in evening serving and closing duties.
2) Ordering food, alcohol, and cleaning supplies
3) Supervising the preparation, display, and delivery of food and drinks
4) Maintaining quality and service standards
5) Maintaining good relationships with suppliers, event hosts and bar performers.
6) Ensuring all staff follow strict personal safety, food safety and food storage guidelines
7) Supervising and maintaining restaurant cleanliness to meet regulatory sanitation and
hygiene standards
8) Managing nightly inventory levels and communicating numbers to senior management
9) Operating the point-of-sale system, processing payments, and issuing gift cards
10) Arranging group events and ensuring the restaurant and staff meet service and food
expectations
11) Authorizing refunds or other equivalent options
12) Assisting in the development of menu offerings and changes based on costs and customer
preferences
13) Creating innovative promotions and designing marketing materials.
14) Labor cost control

Qualifications
• Serving it Right Certification
• Minimum 3 years experience bartending or supervisor experience
• University or Post-Secondary Diploma or Certificate Preferred
