Job Description
Position: Food Service Supervisor
Number of positions available: 1
Work Hours: 40 hours per week
Wage: $23.00/hour
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start date: ASAP
Work Location: 4300 SW Marine Dr, Vancouver, BC V6N 4A6
Language of work: English
Vacation time: 10 days

Key duties and responsibilities
• Overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant
• Recruiting, training, and supervising staff, as well as scheduling shifts
• Ensuring excellent customer service, handling inquiries and complaints, and responding to feedback
• Maintaining quality and service standards, and ensuring compliance with food health and safety regulations
• Managing inventory and estimating and ordering ingredients and supplies
• Liaising with the kitchen to ensure food quality, and collaborating with other F&B leaders to improve service quality
• Maintains recipe documentation
• Establishes menu costs.
• Demonstrates food and beverage service techniques and bar and kitchen equipment to new staff.
Job requirements:
• Completion of a secondary school or equivalent work experience.
• Previous work experience in the same or a directly related job position one is an asset.
• Exceptional organization, time management, prioritization, and self-starter skills
• Passion for food, beverages and commitment to quality
• Understanding of Food and beverages Safe requirements
• Ability to be constantly standing and walking throughout shift, and to do occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, and ascending or descending stairs and ramps.
