Job Description
We are looking to hire a full time, in office, Property Management/Bookkeeping assistant for a maternity leave term of Approximately 12 to 18 moths. Beginning in February, 2024. Starting wage is $22.00 hour.

This job would include, but not be limited to:

Set up appointments, receive applications, check references
Visit various rental properties to open for vendors/perspective tenants
Visit rental properties to take pictures and videos
Write advertisements and Prepare advertising bills
Enter vendor bills and tenant payments into accounting software
Bank deposits
Collect and roll coins from various buildings
Receive and log tenant payments
Scanning documents to accounting software
Respond to tenant/perspective tenant inquiries via e-mail and phone.
Answer phones and direct calls when needed.
Monthly Owner account reconciliation and statement preparation
Respond to any tenant/owner inquiries

Successful applicant must be:

1. extremely proficient in English, both written and verbal.

2. Familiarity with Google docs, authentisign and Buildium.

3. Must have your own vehicle, valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract.

Friendly, outgoing and enjoy interacting with the public.
Comfortable working with diverse communities and cultures
Some familiarity with British Columbia Residential Tenancy Laws.
