West Coast Fishing Club (Phase II Management) is looking for an experienced a full-time, permanent (40 hr) Cook for their Clubhouse!
Since the summer of 1988, West Coast Fishing Club has been offering its patrons a unique adventure and an incredible hospitality experience. The Clubhouse is located in Haida Gwaii, northwestern BC, just south of Alaska.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Plan and cook menus, determine size of breakfast, lunch, and dinner servings for guests.
• If management or front of house reports a guest with dietary restrictions, modify the menu accordingly.
• Maintain seafood, meat, poultry and other food item inventories with local products, in case of orders from mainland – optimize order cycles with efficient inventory levels
• Schedule and assign kitchen helpers to their stations, lines, banquets.
• Oversee kitchen operations and report to management in a daily basis.
• If any party, guest or special occasion requires buffets, plan and set up the buffet.
• Maintain the hygiene standards of The Clubhouse in all kitchen area(s).

Job Description

And:

• Several year(s) of proven relevant work experience
• Completion of Secondary School
• Excellent interpersonal & relationship skills, problem solving, supervising
• Ability to work on a flexible schedule, shift work may be required; weekend, nights

Remuneration:
$22.39 per/hr + 2 weeks vacation
