Job Description

Job Description and Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook complete meals according to recipes
• Set up cooking line for food service
• Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and sanitized according to procedure including equipment, food storage and work areas according to daily and weekly schedules
• Adhere to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures including HACCP logs, as required, appropriate dating, labeling and rotation of all food items
• Store food and leftovers according to established standards
• Coordinate daily food supply inventory of stations and submit orders to supervisor
• Assist with receipt of deliveries
• Assist with orientation of new employees in their work area
• Ensure smooth operations in absence of supervisor
• Dishwashing as needed
Employment Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school required.
• Completion of trade certificate or formal culinary education preferred.
• At least two years of experience as a cook.
• Positive attitude and team player and a demonstrated ability to work under pressure.
