Santouka Kamei Canada Food Ltd. (dba Hokkaido Ramen Santouka) is seeking 4 Cooks for three locations:

Permanent, full-time (30-40 hours per week), $17.62 per hour. Plus extended health and bonus are available based on sales performance.
Standard 6-8-hour shifts for this position could be scheduled anytime between 9am and 11pm as required.

Job Description

Duties:
• Cook everything on the menu;
• Create ramen soup bases;
• Inspect ingredients for quality and freshness;
• Supervise all food preparation;
• Provide training to new kitchen staff on matters of hygiene, Japanese ramen techniques, and other matters.

Qualifications:
• Minimum 2-3 years of previous experience as a commercial cook;
• Previous experience with Japanese Ramen cuisine is an asset;
• Japanese language ability is an asset;
• English language ability required.
