Terms of Employment
Wage: $18.00/hour.
Position: Full-time, Permanent.
Vacation: 2 weeks
Work Hours: 35 hours per week

Job Description
Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervises opening or closing procedures for the dining room.
• Supervise the dining room team and maintain uniform service standards.
• Conduct daily pre-shifts prior to service with team members.
• Ensure side duties is completed every day and dining room supplies are stocked.
• Review daily menu and other applicable announcements.
• Anticipate resident needs and ensure that service meets/exceeds expectations to ensure a memorable and pleasant dining experience.
• Inspect dining room, table settings, chairs, and floors for proper maintenance, cleanliness and safety. Take immediate action to correct any issues.
• Ensures meal count is accurate and attendance is completed.
• Receive and greet residents and their guests; assist with seating at reserved tables.
• Check tables throughout service times for guest satisfaction and resolve resident complaints and concerns.
• Assists with training new-hires in service standards utilizing WOW training manual, menu items and use of POS System.
• Provide constructive feedback from residents during menu planning and design.
• Assist in supervising Morning Star House meal service, set up and clean up.
• Understands and executes policy and procedures.
• Provides assistance in the Food Production area and/or the Dish room, on an as-needed basis.


Education and Experience

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would qualify. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
• Completion of high school diploma.
• Must have a minimum of 3-years experience in hospitality with at least 7 months of experience in a supervisory position;
• Possesses and exhibits the drive to provide exceptional service.
• Full-time flexible hours are required (able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays).
• Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift 30 lbs.
• Proficient in computer skills, including POS systems, Word and Excel.
• Professional appearance appropriate for a fine dining establishment.
