About Us:
Our clinic, located in Delta, BC, provides specialized services to individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, and physical disabilities. We are committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and supportive environment for our clients and staff. We are currently seeking a dedicated Orderly to join our team to assist clients with mobility challenges and personal care needs, support therapists during therapy sessions, and help maintain overall cleanliness within the clinic.

Job Responsibilities:
•Assist Clients with Mobility Challenges: Help clients with physical disabilities move safely within the clinic, access therapy areas, and navigate between different spaces. Assist with transfers, ensuring clients are comfortably seated for therapy sessions.
•Provide Support During Therapy: Work alongside therapists during therapy sessions by helping clients sit comfortably and providing physical support throughout the session to ensure their safety and comfort.
•Personal Hygiene Support: Assist clients with restroom use and any personal hygiene needs during their visits, ensuring dignity, privacy, and comfort.
•Clinic Cleanliness and Maintenance: Keep all clinic areas, including therapy areas, waiting areas, and restrooms, clean, sanitary, and well-maintained. Follow a cleaning schedule to disinfect surfaces, equipment, and high-traffic areas regularly.
•Replenish Supplies: Ensure that all clinic areas are stocked with necessary supplies such as hand sanitizers, paper towels, soap, and other hygiene-related items.
•Set-Up and Maintenance of Therapy Areas: Help prepare and maintain therapy areas before and after client sessions, ensuring that equipment is clean and properly arranged for use.
•Monitor Facility Conditions: Identify and report any maintenance issues, safety concerns, or other hazards to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff.

Qualifications:
•Previous experience working as an orderly, caregiver, or in a support role, particularly in a healthcare or clinic setting
•Ability to assist clients with mobility challenges and provide compassionate personal care
•Ability to work closely with therapists during therapy sessions, supporting clients to ensure their comfort and safety
•Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards
•Knowledge of hygiene and infection control practices
•Ability to work independently and follow a structured cleaning and care routine
•Physically capable of performing tasks such as lifting, bending, and assisting clients with mobility challenges
•First Aid and CPR certification is an asset but not required
