This full-time, onsite position offers the successful candidate an opportunity to make an immediate impact within our organization. Job Description
Job Duties/Responsibilities:

? Ensure that all weekly timesheets are complete and accurate, and coordinate with hiring managers for verification and approval.
? Facilitate the onboarding of new employees by integrating them into payroll and workforce management software, ensuring a smooth transition into the company. Ensure all employee information and documentation are verified and securely stored.
? Administer full-cycle payroll processing for all employment types (temporary, contract, and permanent), ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
? Conduct precise calculations of payroll and commissions, ensuring employees are compensated accurately and on time.
? Audit and review payroll data entries for accuracy, identifying and correcting discrepancies to maintain data integrity.
? Perform payroll reconciliations, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and accounted for.
? Act as the primary contact for employee payroll inquiries, providing prompt and accurate responses.
? Execute comprehensive data entry tasks for all payroll-related activities, including updates to benefits and other changes, ensuring all records are current.
? Maintain up-to-date and precise employee records within the HRIS/Payroll System
? Support the year-end and general ledger account reconciliations
? Assist in the auditing and balancing of payroll accounts, ensuring that all payroll transactions are correctly recorded and reconciled.
? Related supportive tasks may be assigned on an as-needed basis. These include assisting with the processing of weekly client invoices, ensuring that billing reconciles with the recorded hours of work by employees.

Skills requirements (includes education and work experience):

? A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting administration, ideally with a focus on payroll processing and administration.
? Completion of a college program or university degree in accounting, bookkeeping, payroll administration/practices, or a related discipline is required.
? Proficiency in Excel at an intermediate or advanced level is necessary.
? Demonstrated experience and familiarity with managing Ceridian and QuickBooks (both Online and Desktop versions), and/or other online information/document control systems are essential.
? Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
? The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
? Capable of managing multiple projects concurrently.
? Experience in accounting reporting and an understanding of payroll regulations and confidentiality principles would be considered an asset.
