Nanaimo Denture Clinic is growing! We are hiring a full-time Administrative Assistant - Medical for our Nanaimo, BC location. You will be responsible for the following:
• Schedule and confirm appointments and receive and communicate messages for staff.
• Enter and format medical reports and correspondence on internal software for review.
• Assist clients in the completion of forms, documents, and case histories.
• Complete insurance and other claim forms.
• Maintain confidential medical files and records.
• Establish and maintain various internal office administrative support procedures such as document tracking and filing and monthly reporting.
• Order supplies and maintain inventory.
• Determine and establish office procedures and routines.
Job Description
Requirements:
• Completion of a certificate in the administrative field is required.
• 1-2 years of related experience in the medical industry.
• Availability to work a variety of hours, which may include weekends, evenings, early morning shifts and holidays
• Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English effectively
What we offer:
• $30.00/hr
• 4% Vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time position
