This position is permanent, full-time; 40 hours per week; $30.00 per hour.

Job Description

Duties:
- Cut, assemble, fit and attach metal-framed glass enclosures for all types of structures;
- Install pre-assembled glass units for all types of structures;
- Install pre-assembled metal framework for windows or doors to be fitted with glass panels, using hand tools;
- Cut and remove broken glass pieces to installing replacement glass;
- Determine type of glass, frame and material required;
- Position and secure panes in frames;
- Work from aerial lifts and suspended scaffolding platforms during building envelope finishing work.

Qualifications:
- Completion of secondary school is required;
- Completion of an apprenticeship program OR a combination of at least 2 years of work experience in the field as well as some high school, college or industry courses in glazing is required;
- Fall Protection training is an asset;
- WHMIS training is an asset;
- English language ability is required.
