Job Requirements
Languages: English
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma is required
Experience: Work experience as a food service supervisor for 1 year or more is required
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Standing for extended periods
Ability to Supervise: 1-2 people
Workers Supervised: Food service counter attendants and food preparers
Work Setting: Coffee Shop
Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available
Specific Skills/Job Duties: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures; Requisition food and kitchen supplies; Address customers' complaints or concerns; Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food; Ensure food and service meet quality control standards; Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage; Prepare and submit reports; Supervise and check assembly of trays; Establish work schedules; Establish methods to meet work schedules.
