Sonic Car Wash, BC is looking for one energetic individual as a Retail Supervisor for our site located at 1200 Hudson Rd, West Kelowna, BC V1Z 4E3. Position is full time with 8 hours a day/40 hour a week. As a Retail Supervisor, you will be responsible to oversee the Retail Convenience Store located in the Car wash area while performing the following duties as described below


Prepare and distribute weekly work schedules for staff.
Assist store manager in recruitment and training of employees and report performance for new employees to the store manager.
To manage our core services for Express Tunnel, 10 Self-Serve (sale of car wash vouchers) Wash Bays, Frozen Yogurt Shop, and a Convenience Store.
Conduct staff meetings to ensure easy and timely workflow.
Train employees in and perform conflict resolution wherever necessary.
Prepare sales report on daily/weekly/monthly basis.
Ensure smooth operation of POS system, debit and credit machines and reconciliation of system at day-end.
Ensure all products in store are fresh and authorize return of expired products to vendors.
Ensure maintenance of facia, signage, and cleanliness as per company standards.
Oversee and supervise retail staff, including cashiers, and people working on the floor.
Ensure safety protocols are in place and followed by all staff.
Ensure health standards are met.
Job Description
Requirements:

1-2 years of retail experience and/or customer service experience.
Availability to work a variety of hours, which may include weekends, evenings, early morning shifts and holidays.
Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English effectively
Basic math skills to handle cash and financial reports
Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma

Specific Skills:

Determine staffing requirements; Manage staff and assign duties; Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages; Recruit, hire and/or volunteers; Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations; Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written skills.

What we offer:

$24.00/hr
4% Vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period
