We, 1663454 Alberta Ltd. o/a Edo Japan, are looking for a food service supervisor (permanent / full time position) who can join our professional team!

Job title: food service supervisor (NOC 62020)
Terms of employment: Permanent & Full time Position
Wage: $18 to $20 per hour for 30-40 hours a week
Location: #1150 5235 Northland Dr NW Calgary, Alberta, T2L 2J8
Expected Start Date: ASAP
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of store staff
• Collect cash, credit/debit cards or other payment from customers, also, balance cash and record sales
• Provide outstanding food and customer service
• Place orders to vendors for required supplies, when needed
• Responsible for overseeing the overall operation of the food service establishment
• Assist in the process of hiring of new staff, when necessary
• Train new employees in workplace safety, sanitation and job duties
• Resolve customer complaints in a smooth and professional manner
• Perform daily inventory counts and keep records of both necessary and wasted supplies/stock
• Assist in the development process of company procedures and policies
• Other duties as assigned by the manager/owner

• Fast paced environment, Physically demanding, Tight deadlines, Standing for extended periods

Position Requirements and Qualifications
• Secondary (senior high) school Diploma
• 7 months to 1 year of work experience in food service/handling industry
• Previous experience in a supervisory role
• Strong organization and effective interpersonal skills
• Client focus; Team player – positive, reliable, and motivated

• Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Flexible Hours, Morning, TBD
