Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Assume full responsibility and care of two children (2 and 1-year old) during the absence of the parents and maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- Tend to emotional well-being of the children
- Organise and supervise children’s activities
- Bathe, dress and feed children
- Prepare children for rest periods
- Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers, as required
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks
- Light housekeeping
- Assist with care for two family dogs (i.e. walking, feeding, clean up)

Work Environment:
- Non-smoking
- Working within the employer’s home - Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment

Job Requirements:
- Education: Secondary - General Course (Diploma) Completed
- 1 year of job-related experience
- Languages: English or French
- Skills: Reliability, Initiative, Organized, Client focus, Flexibility, Team player, Judgement

Salary: $15.75 - $16.29/hour (Negotiable, based on experience)
Hours per week: 35 Hours

Basic Schedule:
Monday: 10h00-18h00 with breaks during the day
Tuesday: 10h00-18h00 with breaks during the day
Wednesday: 10h00-18h00 with breaks during the day
Thursday: 10h00-18h00 with breaks during the day
Friday: 10h00-18h00 with breaks during the day
Saturday: Off
Sunday: Off
