Air Plus Hair Salon is now seeking 2 Master Hairstylists to join our team at Metropolis at Metrotown location. Wage: $36.26 per hour or up to a maximum of 40% commission, whichever is higher, plus tips.

The position is permanent, Full time (40 hours per week) with shifts scheduled between 10AM and 9PM. 4% pay in lieu of paid vacation days.

Job Description

Duties:
- Regular hairstyling (Shampoo, cut, style, color, blow-dry, etc.).
- Hairstyling for special occasions such as weddings and formal events.
- Analyzing hair and scalp conditions before applying products and advising on care methods.
- Applying professional hair color, bleach, and tints.
- Train and mentor junior stylists.
- Oversee assistants' duties and assign responsibilities.

Requirements:
- Must have completed an apprenticeship or college program in hairstyling.
- plus, on the job training OR have a minimum of 3 years of professional.
- experience if no formal hairstyling training or education.
- Previous experience in formal event hairstyling is an asset.
- English language ability is required.
