Job Details
Maenam is located in the heart of Kitsilano area. We serve authentic Thai cuisine with innovative twists on centuries-old recipes. We are currently looking for a permanent and full-time Food Service Supervisor to join our team.

Education, skills and experience required:
• Completion of high school
• Several years of experience in food industry or hospitality such as a server, kitchen helper, and/or supervisor
• Must have strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills
• Strong customer service background and excellent communication skills
• Great with time management, extremely organized
• Ability to work flexible hours (including days, nights, weekends, and holidays)
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment and multitask

Language: Communication skills in English

Compensation:
$20.00 / hour plus tips/gratuities, staff meals, extended Sunlife medical plan (after 1-year continuous full-time work), 4% Vacation Pay

Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff
• Train staff in job duties
• Deal with complaints arise from customers and special requests in a timely, friendly and professional manner
• Ensure food service and quality control
• Maintain the supplies and inventory when and if necessary, by estimating and ordering supplies required for smooth operation
• Prepare sales reports and complete checklists and procedures for cash reporting and inventory control
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Ensure the compliancy with all health and safety regulations
