Five Springs Investment Inc. o/a A&W Restaurant at the University of Calgary is looking for full-time permanent cooks to join our busy team!

Position: Cook (NOC 63200)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (30-40 hours per week), Day, morning, To be determined
Vacancy: 2
Hourly Wage: $17.00 - $18.00
Expected Start Date: As soon as possible
Work Location: 402 Collegiate Blvd NW, Calgary, AB T2N 1N4
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook complete menus according to recipes
• Maintain inventory and records of food ingredients
• Check the quantity and quality of received products
• Estimate expected food consumption and requirement
• May place purchase orders and/or requisitions for procuring necessary, food ingredients, supplies, etc. required for menu preparation
• Keep kitchen and food handling area clean with proper regulation and procedure
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
Position Requirements and Qualifications:
• Secondary school (senior high) graduation
• Previous work experience (1-7 months) in commercial kitchen settings
• Flexibility; Judgement; Organized; Team player
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, physically demanding, Repetitive tasks
