Job Description
Tasks
• Interview patients to obtain case histories
• Schedule and confirm appointments
• Maintain filing system
• Perform general clerical work, such as order supplies and maintain inventory
• Enter and format electronically based medical reports and correspondence and prepare spreadsheets and documents for review
• Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records
• Perform data entry
• Provide customer service
• Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures
• Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
• Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
• Review, evaluate and implement new administrative procedures
• Carry out administrative activities of establishment
• Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
• Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
Requirements
ï¬ College diploma or above
ï¬ 2-3 years of practical experience in clinic administration
ï¬ Familiarity with Electronic medical records electronic scheduler system
ï¬ Proven practical experience with word processing software
ï¬ Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
ï¬ Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
ï¬ Excellent oral communication and excellent written
