Kyoto Sushi Japanese Restaurant has been serving Edmonton and surrounding areas for many years and is in desperate need for a cook.

This position will be full-time and permanent, and the work location is 9852 63 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T6E 0G6. The hourly wage will be $18.00 with 30-40 hours per week. The overtime pay will be 1.5x the regular rate, beginning after 44 hours of work per week and/or 8 hours per day.

Job Description:
– Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
– Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef.
– Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies.
– Inspect kitchens and food service areas.
– Order supplies and equipment.
– Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
– Clean kitchen and work areas.
– Manage kitchen operations.
– Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies.

Job Description

Job Requirements:
– Language: English
– Education: Secondary education is required
– Work experience: At least 1 year of relevant work experience, training will be provided as well.
