SW Event Technology & Showtime Event & Display is on the lookout for a strategic Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the operation of our rental warehouse facility in Coquitlam, BC. As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in leading and developing a warehouse team, ensuring that all equipment is properly prepared and delivered on time to our events and you will collaborate with our production team, to provide input on equipment needs and logistics planning to ensure high-quality event experiences for our clients. This is a permanent, full-time position; 35-40 hours per week; with an annual pay range of $60,000-$70,000 based on experience. Benefits include extended health and medical after 6 months.

Job Description
Duties:
- Coordinate, delegate, and oversee the daily warehouse activities to ensure that our equipment is properly prepared and delivered on time to our events;
- Plan the workflow of the warehouse to optimize productivity and efficiency, and provide recommendations for improvements to the General Manager;
- Manage equipment shortages and cross-rental allocations, pickups and returns;
- Update inventory, maintain logs and generate distribution reports for management;
- Adhere to and enforce safety policies and contribute to improvements by identifying and addressing unsafe practices or conditions;
- Resolve vendors’ and suppliers’ issues to ensure satisfaction;
- Select, train, motivate and direct the warehouse associates in conjunction with HR practices and establish, monitor, and manage operational goals;
- If needed the supervisor might also be involved in assisting with loading and unloading equipment.

Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school is required;
- 3+ years of previous warehouse shipping/receiving experience is required;
- Previous experience in supervising is an asset;
- Experience using Flex Rental Solutions Inventory Management System is an asset;
- Strong computer skills with competency in Excel, Word and Outlook;
- Have an solid understanding and knowledge of audio, lighting, staging, video, trade show equipment;
- A valid class 5 BC driver's license or equivalent, experience of driving a forklift is an asset;
- Able to handle work under pressure in a very fast-paced warehouse environment;
- To be physically fit, safety-minded and able to lift up to 50+ lbs
- English language ability is required.
