Our guests receive authentic Thai massage treatments to aid with detoxification, relaxation, stress and pain relief, and mental clarity.

Organic Thai Spa is a luxurious boutique spa in Kitsilano area, decorated in the elegant stylings of Thailand. Our spa has been a fixture of the Kitsilano neighborhood since first opening its doors back in 2010; our Bayswater Street location has become the Vancouver spa of choice for all who visit.

We are currently looking for someone to join our administrative team and who is organized, a quick learner, team oriented, client focused, reliable, has excellent time management skills and who acts with professionalism during working hours, to join our administrative team and help us meet our customers’ demands.

Job Description
Position: Administrative Assistant
Work Hours: 30 hours per week
Wage: $25.07/hour
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start date: ASAP
Vacation time: As per law
Work Location: 2471 Bayswater Street, Vancouver, BC V6K 4N3, Canada.
Language of work: English

Key duties and Responsibilities

• Acts as first point of contact for all clients.
• Monitors and responds to our general email mailbox.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail.
• Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages.
• Order office supplies and maintain inventory.
• Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems.
• Types material from handwritten such as correspondence, reports and documents.
• Receiving and logging all incoming payments.
• Schedule and confirm employees appointments.
• Keep up to date Employees files.
• Create and analyze deployment for events.
• Follow and establish office procedures.
• Other administrative duties as needed.

Requirements/Education and other requirements

• Completion of secondary school.
• 1 to 2 years of previous clerical work experience.
• MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to handle large workload.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
