Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Weigh, measure, mix and prep ingredients according to recipes
• Cook complete meals/menus as ordered
• Slice, cut, tenderize and skewer meat and vegetables
• Braise and grill meat and vegetables
• Participate in developing menus, determining the size of food portions when needed
• Check the quality of raw and cooked foods
• Ensure that inventory of supplies is completed regularly, and items required are in-stock
• Estimate expected food consumption and requirement
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
• Train kitchen staff and helpers

Position Requirements and Qualifications
ï‚Ÿ Completion of high school education
ï‚Ÿ Previous work experience (more than 7 months) in commercial kitchen settings
ï‚Ÿ Familiarity with Asian/Japanese Cuisine
ï‚Ÿ Organized; Team player;
