The Hoke Poke is currently looking for a permanent and full-time cook.
Education, skills and experience required:
- Completion of Secondary School
- At least three years of work experience of food preparation in commercial environment
- Exceptional knife handling skills
- Maintain exceptional hygiene and presentation
- Food safe certification is an asset
Language:
- Communication skills in English
Compensation:
$17.62 - $19.00/hour + tips, 35 hours/week, 4% vacation pay, staff meals provided for every 4 hours shift

Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepares fish and accurately seasons according to the restaurants standardized recipes
- Cleans and prepares all vegetables using food processors or hand cutting
- Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at all workstations to ensure smooth service periods
- Perform regular inventory counts and report shortages to supervisor or manager
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation area
